Reed Exhibitions in Mexico announces the postponement of the Expo Seguridad Mexico and Expo Seguridad Industrial events. The events are scheduled to take place from August 18 to 20, at Centro Citibanamex.
The decision has been made following extensive consultation with all stakeholders and in alignment with the advice from the Mexican public health authorities regarding travel to and from impacted countries, and in addition to public authority advice to restrict gatherings of 1,000 people or more.
Expo Seguridad is a 3-day trade show focused around the electronic and industrial security industry, with technology, solutions and education opportunities for domestic and international manufacturers, distributors, integrators and end-users.
“All our thoughts are with those impacted by COVID-19. The decision to postpone the shows was a difficult one. Our customers, partners and staff have worked diligently to make this Expo Seguridad edition a reality,’ commented, Director Jorge Hagg. “Our top priority is to ensure the health and safety of all who are part of the events. We are confident that our rescheduled shows will continue to live up to the high standards participants have come to expect, and provide a vital service to the industry. We will be offering business, collaboration, and education opportunities, and creating ways for the security community to connect, and keep the industry moving forward during this difficult period.
On behalf of Reed Exhibitions, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all exhibitors, partners, attendees, suppliers, media, and staff for their support during this challenging time, and we look forward to welcoming the global security and public safety community to Mexico City in August,” Hagg concluded.
