ExSys Awards Now Accepting Entries

Awards Honor System-Based Trade Show Exhibits

by Travis Stanton, The Experiential Design Authority

Minneapolis, MN –  The Experiential Design Authority is excited to issue a call for entries in its first annual ExSys Awards competition. Celebrating the most innovative and effective system-based exhibits, the ExSys Awards honor exceptional design, functionality, and user experience in exhibits that utilize systems to create dynamic and engaging environments for trade show and event attendees.

The ExSys Awards recognize the integration of technology, creativity, and strategy in trade show displays that enhance attendee interaction, convey key messages, and leave lasting impacts on visitors. Whether through unique design, experiential engagements, or immersive environments, the ExSys Awards highlight exhibits that push the boundaries of traditional booth design.

“We are excited to launch the 2025 ExSys Awards and shine a spotlight on the incredible talent and forward-thinking solutions that are transforming trade show experiences,” said Travis Stanton, Executive Director of The Experiential Design Authority. “With 20 categories and Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards in each, there are plenty of opportunities for recognition. Furthermore, the top-rated entry will be named the ExSys Exhibit of the Year, the agency with the best showing overall will receive the ExSys Agency of the Year Award, and the system used in the highest-ranking entries will be named this year’s ExSys System of the Year.”

Eligible entries include trade show exhibits from across the globe, built using pre-built system-based components such as Aluvision, BeMatrix, Moss, Octanorm, Classic Exhibits, or any other exhibit system manufacturer. Exhibitors and designers are encouraged to submit their entries to demonstrate how they’ve leveraged systems to enhance their trade show presence, as well as how they are using creativity and innovation to raise the bar on what is expected from system-based exhibitry.

“What’s special about the ExSys Awards and The Experiential Design Authority is that the adjudication is completely unbiased, the scoring process is fully transparent, and the entry fees are established to ensure that even the smallest exhibit houses can submit their best work,” said Stanton. “These awards have the potential to raise employee morale and company pride, contribute to the growth of designers and marketing professionals in our industry, inspire future work and innovations, and provide a lookbook of examples clients can review before sending an RFI or RFP to help them understand what is really possible within the realm of exhibit systems.”

A Student Design category will allow undergrad and graduate-level students to submit free entries representing their work using exhibit systems. And the competition will also feature a free-to-nominate Lifetime Achievement Award category. To nominate an individual who has made a significant contribution to the exhibit industry (especially within the context of exhibit systems (manufacturing, designing, championing, etc.), please email info@experientialdesignauthority.com.

All entries must be submitted by March 26, 2025. Entries submitted by the early bird deadline (March 5) will receive discounted entry fees. The winners will be announced at a special ceremony hosted by Exhibit City News in the summer of 2025.
