“Our customers, team and business all benefit from the perspective Heather brings through her many years at the helm of a diverse group of businesses all focused on long-term growth and a values-based, employee-first culture,” said Carrie Freeman Parsons, Freeman Chair. “As our 95-year old company looks to the next decade, we value her expertise leading privately-held, global organizations.”

She is a member of the Board of the parent company of Performance Trust Capital Partners, a boutique investment bank based in Chicago, as well as KERA, North Texas’ Public Broadcasting non-profit organization.
Kreager replaces Margot Carter as her term ends this month.
“On behalf of the entire Board, thanks to Margot for her outstanding contributions and stalwart support of Freeman,” said Freeman Parsons.
