The 42nd edition of SIGGRAPH, the top annual global exhibition dedicated to computer graphics, digital image and interactivity technologies, will be held Aug. 9-13 in Los Angeles.
Gathering more than 20,000 professionals, the event is dedicated to innovative projects in “emerging technologies.” SIGGRAPH is organized by The Association for Computing Machinery – ACM, the biggest digital global organization representing over 100,000 professional members.
Sixteen exhibitors at the French Pavillion this year are recognized for their excellence in content production, services providing, selling and supplying softwares in digital content sectors: 3D animation, special effects, virtual augmented reality, gaming, mobile content, robotic, etc. With 14 technical papers selected, three talks, 21 French companies selected (including 2 award winners) will participate at the Computer animation Festival, one company will exhibit in the emerging technologies category and 16 will showcase their work at the French Pavillion submitted by Cap Digital and Imaginove.
Cap Digital is currently recognized as one of the major European clusters dedicated to the digital industries and transformation of the global economy. Since 2007, Cap Digital has been representing the French digital industry at SIGGRAPH, allowing each year a dozen of the most innovative French SMEs to exhibit at this worldwide event.
Imaginove’s main purpose is to increasingly serve as a top European reference where the future of digital content and usages takes shape.
