FutureShow, a program designed to realign revenue and increase the return on investment (ROI) for face-to-face marketing events, also was selected to connect with event marketers at EXPLORE! Optimizing Customer Attainment from Event Engagement, a symposium produced and organized by the CMO Council and E2MA. EXPLORE! took place on July 29 at the Hyatt McCormick Place in Chicago.
During EXPLORE!, the E2MA, in partnership with the CMO Council and FutureShow, is hosting an invitation-only event for senior marketers to review the findings of the recently completed study, “Customer Attainment from Event Engagement.”
FutureShow was featured during EXPLORE!’s technology showcase, presented by Bob Hughes, president, the Hughes Group, and Andy Holtzman, senior director, FutureShow, who has held executive marketing positions at Paramount Studios, Discovery Communications/Discovery Channel and Citibank. The fast-moving session showcased vendors who have new technologies, tools and processes for monitoring and measuring attendee behavior at exhibitions and events.
In a shift away from traditional conference and exhibition models, the FutureShow program employs focused content and engagement between show organizers, sponsors, members/attendees, speakers and contributors to “connect with success.” Show organizers can deliver increased value to all event participants, sponsors and exhibitors at significantly lower costs, resulting in increased revenues, a higher net profit and increased loyalty among sponsors and participants.
FutureShow, a Hughes Group program, drives content-driven, face-to-face communication, generating better value to organizers, attendees, organizers, exhibitors and sponsors. The Hughes Group has 30 years of exhibit sales and design experience.
In addition to the FutureShow, The Hughes Group created GottaConnect, a paperless document-delivery and lead-retrieval solution and the Xpressions display line of products, all part of a menu-driven suite of solutions that are purpose-built to lower the logistical costs of exhibits, exhibiting and producing shows by up to 50 percent.
