Officials for GenieMobile, a provider of event-participation solutions, have announced the addition of an expert in software and cloud-based technologies to be the firm’s global sales and marketing director.
In her new role, Jackie Groves will be responsible for managing and building GenieMobile’s rapidly expanding portfolio of clients, bringing a wealth of leadership experience in both software and cloud-based technology solutions. She will drive and facilitate GenieMobile’s expanding operations by building successful sales teams and implementing marketing strategies to support the overall growth of the business.

GenieMobile produces native apps for iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone and the iPad plus mobile and desktop web apps. Located in the U.K. and the U.S., GenieMobile has its sights firmly set on leading the fast-growing mobile event and association apps market.

Prior to joining GenieMobile, Groves served as U.K. head of corporate sales for Sophos, an IT security vendor, where she led a team of sales managers and executives selling into the commercial markets. Groves has a track record of delivering technology solutions to multi-sector, blue chip companies. She has been in the technology industry for 22 years and brings with her an invaluable wealth of knowledge and experience, according to GenieMobile.
