A new chief operations officer brings extensive experience in operations, lean manufacturing and leadership to Global Experience Specialists (GES).
Officials for GES, a provider of exhibitions, events and entertainment experiences, have announced that Damian Morgan recently joined the company as chief operating officer for its U.S. operations. Morgan reports to GES Pres. Steve Moster and first collaborated with GES in 2009 on its Lean Six Sigma initiative while working for Accenture.
“Damian is an exceptional leader with a tremendous amount of experience and first-hand knowledge of our business,” said Moster. “He is an important addition as we drive dynamic teams to innovate, plan and execute events in the U.S.”
Prior to joining GES, Morgan worked for McKinsey & Company with a focus on operations. He also was a partner at Accenture for three years and specialized in operational excellence and innovation. He spent six years with Toyota Motor Manufacturing in the U.K. Morgan received his bachelor’s degree in engineering from Coventry University in the U.K. He is based in GES’ Chicago client-care center.
