Global Experience Specialists (GES), a leading global event marketing company, announced record-setting acknowledgment of its campaigns, people and capabilities by leading organizations, marketing and events publications.
Recognized by the American Business Awards, the nation’s premier business awards program, two projects – Dermablend’s Zombie Boy Wedding campaign and the Art and Science of Engagement campaign – GES was awarded a gold and silver Stevie Award.
Awarded a Gold Stevie Award in the Marketing Campaign of the Year – All Other Industries category, for the “Made for Each Other – Zombie Boy Wedding” campaign, GES and client Dermablend were honored at the American Academy of Dermatology show.
“It is a distinct honor to have created this campaign that yielded tremendous results for our client and to have that success validated by a jury of our peers,” said Frank Laudo, executive creative director, GES.
GES’ Art and Science of Engagement campaign was recognized with a Silver Stevie Award in the Marketing Campaign of the Year – Corporate Reputation/Professional Services category.
Also recognized for their contributions, several GES employees received outstanding honors.
President Steve Moster was named to the Expo Elite, which celebrates individuals who push their companies and the industry forward by successfully integrating innovation into every phase of their operations.
Raleigh Kung, GES global web master, was recognized with a next generation Rising Star Award by EXPO. The award honors individuals 30 and under who have had a major impact in their field and have produced growth, created new events and experiences and smashed their target goals, all while going above and beyond what was asked of them.
Julia Smith, CEM, CTA, GES, senior vice president of national sales, was recently recognized by the International Association of Exhibitions and Events as its first Woman of Achievement Award winner. The award recognizes a woman who has led the way in the advancement of women in the industry, exhibited outstanding leadership and made significant contributions to the industry and her community.
In addition, Errol Ahearn, GES vice president of executive administration – design was honored by the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Graduate exhibition design program with the Star Award for his generous support and dedication to the next generation of exhibit designers.
GES’ capabilities have also been recognized by “Advertising Age” for the fifth year in a row, ranking GES as one of the World’s 50 Largest Agency Companies and among the Largest U.S. Experiential/Event Marketing Agencies and “Event Marketer” magazine ranked GES as one of the Fab 50, which honors the best exhibit fabricators in the U.S.
