GES provides electrical to AMI Exhibitors at McCormick Place

Global Experience Specialists (GES), a provider of exhibition, event and retail marketing services, is offering electrical services at McCormick Place and Navy Pier. As a result of convention reform in Chicago, show organizers are able to select GES to perform full electrical services at both Chicago facilities.

Since entering the market in March, GES has provided complete electrical services for six events, including the 2011 Meat, Poultry & Seafood Convention and Expo.

“In choosing electrical services from GES, our exhibitors benefited from streamlined planning and greater coordination of services at show site, which resulted in a smooth and efficient move in,” said Anne Halal, American Meat Institute (AMI) vice president for convention and expo services. “In addition, the GES team provided our exhibitors with top-notch customer service. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to select our show’s electrical provider and couldn’t be happier with our decision to choose GES.”

In launching its electrical offering in Chicago, GES invested in more efficient distribution equipment. In addition, GES’ preshow planning and coordination of electrical distribution and installation services offers show organizers and exhibitors a turn-key show-site experience.

GES’ electrical team in Chicago is led by senior operations manager Scott Ryan. He began his career at GES in September 2010 and brings more than 30 years of experience as a journeyman, wireman and manager of electrical operations. Ryan is certified as an arena and theatrical rigger by the Rigstar School of Rigging.
