Gilbert Displays Inc., New York’s largest privately held manufacturer of custom tradeshow exhibits and architectural interiors celebrates its 25-year anniversary.
On June 24, 1986, father and son Gilbert and Barry Ballen formed Gilbert Displays and began building custom tradeshow exhibits from a 14,000 square foot facility in Valley Stream, NY. Together, they created a company whose foundation and success stands upon the core values of delivering exceptional customer service and consistently exceeding client expectations.
Now in its 25th year, Gilbert Displays has transformed to offer a full range of marketing products and services. The company has since expanded its offerings beyond custom tradeshow exhibits to also include architectural interiors, custom graphics and event services and management.
“Outstanding customer service remains our core value and has been the key to our success over these past 25 years,” said Barry Ballen, President and CEO of Gilbert Displays. “I’ve always believed in the philosophy that giving those who seek your services more than they paid for is the best way to keep them coming back. True customer service does not stop at 5 o’clock or any time. It’s our job to provide peace of mind to our clients no matter the size or scope of the project.”
Since its inception, Gilbert Displays has grown to nearly 150 people, many of whom were with the company when it started. Dedicated specialist teams ranging from designers and engineers to project managers, service coordinators, and on-site supervisors make Gilbert Displays better equipped than ever to carry its interpretation of customer service to all of its clients.
