Officials for Reed Exhibitions have promoted a new director and general manager of the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia, a gaming tradeshow and conference dedicated to Asian gaming markets.

Reed Exhibitions promoted Mike Johnson to event director and general manager of G2E Asia. Johnson will continue to serve as director of sales and industry development for G2E Asia and G2E in Las Vegas.

“We are thrilled to recognize Mike for the integral role he plays in the ongoing success of the G2E portfolio of events,” said Courtney Muller, senior vice president, Reed Exhibitions. “Based on his energy, expertise and wide-ranging experience, we look forward to Mike expanding on his current roles to help ensure that G2E and G2E Asia continue to be the largest and most successful tradeshow and conference events for gaming professionals.”
