The Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) has added two new members to its growing team.
Officials for the GMCVB have hired Kristin Wensing as the new director of partnership and development and Constance Samuels as sales manager for the bureau.
“We are extraordinarily pleased to bring Kristin and Constance on board to augment our incredible team,” said Deb Archer, president and CEO, GMCVB. “Both women bring exceptional experience, a proven track record and excellent skills to our organization and market.”
Wensing is a Wisconsin native with a bachelor’s degree in government from Lawrence University in Appleton. Well-versed with a wide range of skills, Wensing has a background in both
partnership and development, holding leadership positions with Lawrence University and the Coro Fellows Program for Public Affairs in St. Louis, Mo. Living in Madison since 2002, Wensing most recently served as the assistant director of leadership giving at the Dane County United Way.
Samuels, a native of Virginia, recently relocated to the Madison area. Her background is in the hotel industry with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Virginia State University.
