Group Delphi appoints VP of marketing to further growth

Group Delphi, an exhibit design and experience creation shop, has named a seasoned marketing executive as its vice president of marketing.

As the newly appointed marketing head, Sara Ost will be responsible for all of Delphi’s marketing efforts that will help amplify the company’s momentum.

ECN 072015_POM_Group Delphi_Sara OstOst brings with her years of experience across the marketing mix – from content and branding to digital strategy and ad tech – having held leadership positions at such companies as Smartify and Dwell Media. In 2007, Ost was the founding editor-in-chief and publisher of EcoSalon, an eco-fashion and culture website, which was later acquired by a media company.

“We are delighted to have Sara onboard. Her immense creativity, paired with her strong expertise in emerging digital and data-driven approaches, will serve Delphi well,” said Justin Hersh, CEO, Group Delphi. “We are consciously adding proven leaders from diverse backgrounds to our executive team. Ost earned her B.A. in Communications and M.A. in American Studies from Pepperdine University, both with honors. She has hosted and spoken at events, including DataWeek API:World, SF AMA, and SXSW Eco.

Her addition to Delphi’s executive team is the latest in the company’s milestones, including:

  • The acquisition of more than 150 new clients, including several Fortune 500 brands, such as Nike and Pixar
  • The deepening of expertise in a broader base of experiential marketing services, including pop-ups
  • The expansion of Delphi’s “under one roof” commitment – featuring technologists and digital strategists to wood workers and fine artists in house – to help unlock integrated creative efforts for client of all sizes
  • The debut of the company’s 200,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Fort Wayne, Ind.
