Hamilton Scores National Recognition

Reflecting its “relentless commitment” to high-impact creative excellence, Hamilton received national industry recognition as a top 50 fabricator for the event and show industries. “Breakthrough, interest-grabbing attention in cluttered environments represents the ultimate outcome for a company in our industry,” says Jason Weddle, Hamilton CEO. “Inclusion on the current ‘Fab 50’ listing rewards the focus of the outstanding team we have at Hamilton, especially given the competitive nature of our business.”

“We are thrilled, humbled and grateful to receive this caliber of national recognition,” he continued. “We at Hamilton are blessed with amazing team members, creative and committed clients, and together we’re doing whatever it takes to produce amazing and impactful results for our clients.”

Exhibit fabricators and builders are so defined because of the complexity of researching, designing and executing a high-impact exhibit or event environment for clients.

Editors of the international Event Marketer magazine, who select and publish the Fab 50 recognition, noted that the list exists “to shine a well-deserved spotlight on the event architects that help power some of the world’s most impactful experiential builds.”

The editors also pointed out that 2021 represented an unusual challenge on a number of fronts: “with a global pandemic to contend with, the fabrication community has had to navigate a host of challenges over the last two years.”

What did this mean? “On top of a stalled trade show industry, builders have been battling supply and labor shortages, the rising cost of materials and transportation, drawn-out production timelines, and shipping delays.”

Added the editors: “And then there’s the all-important business of managing client expectations amid a rapidly evolving industry and ever-changing health and safety regulations.”

Given these unusual challenges in a continued pandemic crisis, the companies that made the current Fab 50 list “reached beyond their core capabilities to develop new skillsets, expand their virtual and hybrid event services, enhance their tech stacks, develop proprietary event solutions, and in some cases, pivot to building pop-up COVID vaccine sites. They scaled exhibits up and they scaled exhibits down to keep pace with fluctuating client requests and budgets.”

Hamilton met and often exceeded the selection criteria for inclusion on the current Fab 50 list. The 74-year-old company, which is privately owned, was specifically recognized for its achievements in innovation and a continuing commitment to sustainability.

The company led an industry-wide PVC recycling program, providing a unique solution for a long-standing environmental issue. During an intense time when the COVID-19 vaccines were first being rolled out, Hamilton persuasively demonstrated its commitment to “doing what it takes” in achieving fast design, organization, execution, and support of the complicated large-scale vaccination initiative of the Indiana Department of Health (IDOH).

This support extended to complex vaccine operations at the University of Notre Dame, the Indianapolis 500 facility, and elsewhere in Indiana.

From an event industry perspective, Hamilton provided innovative solutions with services like Hamilton EXTEND, which offers virtual and hybrid solutions; the HUB LIVE web app, which facilitates engagement, scheduling and content delivery; and Hamilton inSIGHT, a Hamilton proprietary lead capture system.

The inclusion of Hamilton on the Event Marketer Fab 50 list was but one of several national and international industry recognitions Hamilton recently received. Hamilton garnered industry prestige by being named to EXHIBITOR magazine’s 2021 Top 40 List, which honors the industry’s top exhibit producers. In the past year, Hamilton won more than ten awards for its creative work and accomplishments.

According to Event Marketer, the Fab 50 is the world’s only editorial ranking of the top 50 exhibit builders and event fabricators serving the U.S. It is widely recognized as a premier listing of  best-in-class companies within the trade show and event marketing industries, showcasing and highlighting creativity and ingenuity.
