The National Hardware Show, scheduled for May 5-7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, will be postponed due to the COVID-19 virus. The show will remain in Las Vegas and be rescheduled for later this year.
“Our number one priority is the health and safety of our exhibitors, attendees, industry partners and staff,” says Randy Field, group vice president for Reed Exhibitions. “While not an easy decision, after consulting our customers, closely monitoring developments and reviewing guidance from public health officials, including the United States Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization, we have decided it is in the best interest of all our NHS community to postpone the show.
“Our thoughts are with our customers and the industry as we navigate the days ahead. We are looking forward to gathering with the industry and celebrating the launch of cutting-edge new products later in the year.”
For 75 years, NHS has been the all-inclusive event where hardware & home improvement buyers, retailers, manufacturers and other industry leaders from around the globe come together to move their business forward in a constantly evolving industry.
“As we face challenging times we feel it even more important to band together as an industry to continue the long tradition of networking, sourcing new, education and learning best practices at a common time and place,” says Rich Russo, industry vice president for the National Hardware Show. “NHS would not have such longevity without the driving support and passion of the NHS community and we look forward to creating a memorable event for you in Las Vegas.”
The 2020 National Hardware Show will be celebrating its 75th year connecting the industry. NHS has been the place to find everything needed to move business forward including new buying opportunities, merchandising ideas and solutions, money-saving deals and face-to-face networking opportunities.
