On Jan. 14, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held in Ft. Wayne, Ind., to mark the opening of a new building that the firm will use for warehousing. It will also be the location for the assembly and deployment of its extensive rental inventory of modular double deck/multi-level ExpoDeck products and its ExpoWall wall panel systems.

Increasing demand for modular rental properties has necessitated this expansion. Twenty-five thousand square feet have been added to Highmark’s fabrication facility, effectively doubling the company’s capacity where it manufactures and assembles its complete line. The new building features 34-foot high ceilings, large open bays, multiple shipping bays and the extensive reliance on natural lighting.

According to Mick Parrott, CEO, Highmark TechSystems, “This new facility will greatly enhance Highmark’s operational efficiencies. We will be able to offer our customers quicker response and faster turnaround on complex projects. The first month of 2014 has seen an incredible demand for our products, and we want to be able to accommodate our customers.”ECN 052014_MDW_Highmark Techsystems cuts ribbon on new facility (Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Chris Lake, VP of Business Development.Debbie Parrott, Board Member.Mick Parrott, CEO.Kurt Moore, VP of Operations)

The ribbon cutting was also the occasion to launch Highmark’s new company slogan: Make it Happen!

“Our new slogan,” said Parrott, “captures the ‘can do’ spirit at Highmark.”

With manufacturing facilities strategically located in the Midwest, Highmark TechSystems extends logistic and economic advantages to customers, saving them time and money when shipping exhibit and display properties throughout the U.S.

Known for design versatility, lightweight and ease-of-use, the Highmark TechSystems product line includes a cost effective and elegant double deck, modular wall panel systems and custom solutions made of special aluminum extrusions. Utilizing six different proprietary product lines and covering three different market segments, Highmark TechSystems is redefining what modular exhibit components can do.
