Hill & Partners Inc., an award-winning organization that creates branded environments, recently took 40 clients and employees on a Boston Harbor cruise as a result of a winning bid at the South Shore Habitat for Humanity High Heels and Hard Hats Gala.
Hill & Partners, whose offices are located directly across the street from the South Shore Habitat for Humanity office, has consistently taken to heart Habitat’s slogan “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” through various monetary donations, assisting with home building projects and volunteering design services for Habitat events.
During the May 4 Gala, held at Reebok Headquarters in Canton, Mass., Marisa Pacheco, senior graphic designer and marketing coordinator, Hill & Partners, found herself in a bidding war for a Boston Harbor cruise on The Valiant. The 97-foot long, 1920s-style vessel is part of the Charles Riverboat fleet and can accommodate up to 100 people.
Based on the popularity of the item, South Shore Habitat for Humanity allowed both Hill & Partners and the competing bidder to purchase the private charter cruise, creating a win-win-win situation.
Demonstrating appreciation to clients and employees, Hill & Partners hosted a two-hour cruise, one of several company events held throughout the year.
“What a pleasure to display our continued support of South Shore Habitat for Humanity while at the same time show gratitude to our clients and family of employees,” said Michael McMahon, president and CEO, Hill & Partners. “We pride ourselves on the culture of appreciation and respect we have created at Hill & Partners.”
