Hong Kong Tourism Board Meetings & Exhibitions (HKTB) became a premium partner of this year’s Association Program at EIBTM, a global event for the meetings and events industry, taking place Nov. 19-21 at the Fira Gran Via, Barcelona.
Meetings & Exhibitions Hong Kong, a division of HKTB, is set to promote its destination at EIBTM as a premier capital for meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions in the Asia Pacific region.
“We are proud to be sponsoring the EIBTM Association Program as we believe that it is the perfect platform to engage with associations from all over the world, and we support EIBTM in offering knowledge exchange amongst the association executives,” said Dawn Page, director UK and Northern Europe, Hong Kong Tourism Board. “Our aim is to inspire and educate association members in all that Hong Kong has to offer as a meetings destination.”
HKTB’s partnership with the association Program specifically aims to provide association buyers with insight into the opportunities that Hong Kong holds as a MICE destination, providing one-stop professional support and customized hospitality and marketing services for the sector.
“The Association Program brings some of the industry’s top professionals together to learn from high-quality speakers and to network with each other,” said Graeme Barnett, senior exhibition director, EIBTM. “With sophisticated infrastructure, a business-friendly environment and easy accessibility to the rest of the world, we are delighted that Hong Kong is sponsoring the Association Program and showcasing its potential to EIBTM attendees.”
EIBTM 2013 will take place a week earlier than in previous years. The EIBTM Forum will take place the day before the exhibition on Nov. 18.
