The Hotel Show celebrates 15 years, prepares for Dubai Expo 2020

Presenting the supply chain to the hotel industry in the Middle East and African regions for 15 years, The Hotel Show will once again take place in Dubai at the Dubai World Trade Centre Sept. 28-30.

As one of the most comprehensive showcases attracting almost 17,000 attendees in 2013, The Hotel Show provides a full end to end offer from the investment, design and build, through refurbishment, fit out and operations of hotels, restaurants, leisure destinations and resorts.

“While we have been at the heart of the industry for 15 years, we also look forward to the dynamic opportunities that the market here has to offer the international supplier base – not least with EXPO 2020 Dubai,” said Christine Davidson, event director for The Hotel Show. “The Hotel Show is now established as not just a vital event for business, but an annual meeting place for sourcing, networking and education for the hospitality and leisure industries.

Forecasting growth of up to 3 percent in 2016, The Hotel Show seeks to bring real opportunities for those who participate.

New in 2014, the show will feature an International Village dedicated to country pavilions for international brands. Vision 2014 – the high-level conference that attracts influencers and thought leaders will focus on dynamic issues and trends over three days of free events.

With the Dubai Expo 2020 expected to attract in excess of 25 million people, creating a need for 45,000 new hotel rooms, The Hotel Show provides exhibitors the opportunity to get on the supplier’s list for major projects by meeting key decision makers.

“The event is located in a healthily growing marketplace and that is about to get significantly bigger with major projects and developments for EXPO 2020 in Dubai, The World Cup 2022 in Qatar and massive room expansion in Saudi Arabia and Africa,” said Davidson.
