DALLAS, 7 December 2023 – The International Association of Exhibitions and Events® (IAEE) announced today the results of the elections for its 2024 Board of Directors. Members of IAEE’s Board of Directors are elected on an annual basis by the official voting member of each IAEE member company. All officers serve a term of one year, except the secretary/treasurer who may hold the office for two years. The directors each serve three years in staggered terms to ensure continuity in the governance of the association.
2024 IAEE Chairperson Marie Browne manages and grows a portfolio of industry leading events as Group Vice President at RX, a global company in the business of building businesses. Her current portfolio spans industrial sectors from pharmaceutical manufacturing to golf. In addition to managing a portfolio of events, Browne participates in the areas of company strategy and mergers and acquisitions. She has handled transactions of events and business representing values from $5M to $50M in the U.S., Mexico and Brazil in addition to leading the launch of new business representing $10M+ in new revenue per year. Browne received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baruch College and her Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Connecticut.
