IAEE announces 2014 Art of the Show winners

International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) announced the recipients of its annual Art of the Show Competition.

Of this year’s 162 submissions, 33 entries will be honored for their creative use of several essential marketing elements needed to promote exhibitions and events. The winning entries will be on display at Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition to be held Dec. 9-11 in Los Angeles.

ECN-112014_ASSOC_IAEE-Art-of-Show-2014-(Rotator)“Marketing composes the backbone of the overall business model, and the Art of the Show Competition directly reflects how essential exhibitions and events are to that model,” said IAEE President and CEO David DuBois, CMP, CAE, FASAE, CTA. “The level of excellence from all the entries – and, of course, the winners – is a real testament to how strong this industry really is.”

The Art of the Show competition recognizes excellence in promotional materials for the exhibitions and events industry. It includes 15 different categories of competition, spanning three show sizes. Each year, IAEE presents a Best of Show award, which is selected from the individual category winners of the Art of the Show competition. An independent, credentialed panel of judges selects the Best of Show winner. This year’s Best of Show winner is Global Experience Specialists (GES) for its Expresso entry in the Most Innovative Use of Technology category.
