The Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) continues its strategy aimed at an increasingly solid coverage of the stand fitting sector by purchasing 60 percent of stand fitting company Prostand, headquartered in Poggio Torriana di Rimini, which simultaneously took over 100 percent of Colorcom Allestimenti Fieristici (which has branches in Vicenza and Milan). Earlier this year it acquired 51 percent of FB International Inc., a U.S. company with branches in New Jersey and Nevada.
The result is the formation of a new platform in the stand fitting sector, with a portfolio of 5,000 clients in Italy and Europe. By means of this operation, IEG qualifies vertical integration supporting its core business of expo organization and the diversification of its business in the context of ancillary services with a high added value. This phase continues to ensure IEG the control of expo and conference service companies, with a view to monitoring and therefore ensuring exhibiting companies the utmost quality.
