Zol Bernard Harvey Jr.

Zol Bernard Harvey Jr. died February 6, 2026. He was 71. He lived in Las Vegas.

Harvey was born in Texas City, Texas, to Marion Oneta Quarantra and Zol B. Harvey Sr. He was raised in Dickinson, Texas, and moved to Corpus Christi in 1985.

He met Christine at WaterStreet Oyster Bar and proposed the night they met. They married June 28, 1986, at Ropes Park. Harvey raised Chris’s three children from a previous marriage, Marcus Garcia, Rene Garcia, and Rachel Garcia, as his own. In 1987, they welcomed Zol B. Harvey III, known as Trey. The family moved to Las Vegas in 1991.

Harvey began his career in the environmental industry and started a vacuum trucking company while living in Dickinson. He later worked for US Ecology and Environmental Technologies of Nevada. In 1998, he and Chris founded Network I&D, LLC, followed by The Design Factory, LLC, in 1999.

He enjoyed skiing, hunting, deep-sea fishing, traveling, golfing, and riding his Harley-Davidson. One of his favorite memories was celebrating his 70th birthday on a golf trip to Pebble Beach with his sons.

He is survived by his wife, Christine; his children Marcus Garcia (Colleen), Rene Roach (Michael), and Trey Harvey (Mallory); and his grandchildren Jaden Dudek (Candace), Chloe Garcia, Oliver Garcia, Bodhi Roach, and Kai Roach. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rachel Garcia.

He is also survived by his sister, Anita Thrasher (Peter), as well as nieces Shaunna and Danielle, nephew Dax, and their children.

“Zol was a great guy, loved by everyone,” said John Funk, president of Skyline Displays of Orange County.

Christine “Chris” Harvey said, “He was loved by so many and my entire heart.”

Services were held Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Canyon Ridge Christian Church, 6200 Lone Mountain Road, Las Vegas, beginning at 11 a.m. Burial followed at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas. A celebration of life was held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Spanish Trail Country Club, 5050 Spanish Trail Lane, Las Vegas.
