Signing on to be its first signed sponsor, International Paper will be the first name behind the PMMI Possibilities in Packaging Innovation Pavilion at FMI Connect 2014.
The show is scheduled for June 11-12, at McCormick Place in Chicago.
FMI Connect, produced by the Arlington, Va.-based Food Marketing Institute, expects 15,000 retailers and wholesalers to attend, explore and collaborate on solutions to the greatest challenges of the food retail business.
Doug Endicott, marketing director, International Paper, is looking forward to the number of networking opportunities that will be made available during the show.
“As a global leader in paper-based packaging and world-wide sustainability initiatives, we are very much looking forward to one-on-one conversations with the retailers who attend FMI Connect, helping them find innovative packaging solutions,” said Endicott.
The Pavilion will feature both a presentation stage and a series of “Knowledge Desks,” where suppliers such as International Paper will share insights and expertise with attendees.
