The Northern California chapter of The Experiential Designers and Producers Association held its quarterly meeting, its second event of the year, on May 3 at Opal Venue & Event Space in Mountain View, Calif.
The event’s speaker, Sunil Bhaskaran, gave a talk called “Drumming Up New Customers: Innovative Marketing Strategies for New Clients.” Bhaskaran, a business coach and internet marketing expert, consulted with the group on real life solutions, tailored to specific attendee marketing challenges. Although the meeting was only scheduled to last until 1:45 p.m., no one left until after 3.
“This is one of the best gatherings of industry professionals
we’ve had at an event,” says Melinda Stewart, chapter president. “I’m proud to be a part of such an enthusiastic group. Not only did I learn some key internet marketing skills that I plan to put into action right away, I got to see longtime friends and meet new local players. All and all, time well spent.”
The group’s next major event, the 20th Annual Golf and Poker Tournament is scheduled for August 2 in Crystal Springs, Calif.
