IPME Event Structures (IPME) is hosting and sponsoring the 70th Anniversary EDPA ACCESS (Experiential Designers and Producers Association) Opening Reception on December 3rd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas (Grand Hyatt Indian Wells)
This immersive activation, inspired by a 1960s Palm Springs motel, is designed to engage attendees while showcasing innovative event solutions.
At the heart of the reception is a multi-story modular structure that showcases IPME’s expertise in immersive experiences. Guests can enjoy a golf putting challenge with prizes, including two Scottie Cameron putters and a surprise grand prize. The structure also features standout design elements, such as a raised-letter halo lit motel sign, pink translucent storefront vinyl, and interactive rooftop lighting.
“We have designed a fun, immersive multi-story container activation that brings you back to a 1960s Palm Springs Motel theme,” said Craig Rapoza, COO and co-founder of IPME.
Rapoza and his team are inviting attendees to schedule a guided tour during the reception, where they can experience IPME’s experiential marketing approach firsthand. The tour will highlight how the activation reflects major trends in experiential marketing. These include a 34 percent growth in sustainability requests for proposals (RFPs), the increasing popularity of modular, prefabricated structures, and the demand for outdoor activations as companies shift toward creating interactive experiences.
The activation also demonstrates how tools like return on investment (ROI) analytics, heat mapping, and demographic tracking can enhance engagement and provide actionable insights.
IPME collaborated with several partners to create this immersive activation. Image Options (https://www.imageoptions.com/) fabricated the raised-letter, halo-lit motel sign; 4 Productions (https://www.4productions.com/) provided and installed a two-story LED wall; Fusion Imaging (https://fusionimaging.com/) produced the pink translucent graphics for the acrylic walls; and SJP (https://www.sjp.vegas/) provided lighting, including uplighting and rooftop interactive elements.
“Let me know if we can collaborate for future events in creating solutions for your activation needs,” Rapoza added, emphasizing IPME’s commitment to industry partnerships.
For those unable to attend the reception, the structure will remain open for viewing and tours on December 4th . This offers another chance to explore IPME’s modular event solutions and discuss future opportunities with their team.
