The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades L.U. 1175 in Pompano, Florida, has partnered up with Mt. Calvary Baptist Church for a Thanksgiving Turkey giveaway to members and the community on Thursday, Nov. 19. from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. or until the turkeys run out.
The union has partnered with city and county officials on multiple food drives for members and the community during these challenging and difficult times of 2020. According to JC Garcia, LU 1175 Business Representative, “We were honored to partner with United Way, Broward County Mayor Dale Holness, Pompano Beach Mayor Rex Harding and Vice-Mayor of Broward County and hold a food distribution from our IUPAT L.U.1175 Pompano union hall in June. We handed out 500 boxes of food to our members and the Pompano community. We will continue to do our part to help our members and the community as we continue to go through these really hard times in the tradeshow industry.”
