At Four Seasons Resort Orlando, Sibley led group sales and helped drive business during need periods. She also supported operations within the resort’s commercial division.
In her new role, Sibley will serve as a senior leader on Visit Orlando’s convention sales team. She will oversee citywide sales efforts, team operations, and business development logistics tied to national and international conventions, tradeshows, and other events.
“Our goal at Visit Orlando is to remain the top meetings destination in the country,” says Casandra Matej, president and chief executive officer of Visit Orlando. “Jessica’s track record of leading high-performing sales teams and delivering strong results will be a tremendous asset as we strengthen our footprint in the industry.”
Convention center expansion adds momentum
Sibley joins Visit Orlando as Orange County Convention Center begins construction on its Grand Concourse Expansion. The $560 million project will add a 100,000-square-foot ballroom and 44,000 square feet of flexible meeting space to the North-South Building by late 2029.
“Orlando is an extraordinary meetings destination with incredible momentum, especially with the expansion of the Orange County Convention Center on the horizon,” says Sibley. “Now I have the opportunity to work alongside one of the top convention sales teams in the country as we elevate our citywide business even higher.”
Experience includes Four Seasons and Reunion Resort
Sibley spent more than a decade at Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort. During that time, she served as catering sales manager, group sales manager, assistant director of sales, and director of sales.
Earlier, she began her career at Reunion Resort, where she served as group sales manager and catering sales manager.
Sibley holds a Bachelor of Science in hospitality administration from Florida State University. She will report to Stephanie Naegele, vice president of sales and services.
