Keith Hymel (pictured above) has been named vice president, global strategic account management at ConferenceDirect, a full-service global meetings solution company. Most recently, Hymel was with Hilton Hotels for 30 years where he served in many senior capacities including VP sales strategy & technology, managing director of sales and senior global account director of strategic account management. Hymel was named managing director and Team of the Year in 1992 and 1999.
Hymel was an overall five-time winner of Hilton’s Circle of Excellence including the inaugural Elite COE in 2009. He was also part of Hilton’s elite team in achieving Global Program of the Year from the Strategic Management Association in 2013.

Hymel’s industry affiliations include ASAE, ASAE Fellows, MPI and SAMA. In his free time, Hymel enjoys spending time with his family in Allen, Texas, cycling, golfing and fishing. He is an avid cook, from New Orleans, and likes to prepare local favorites. Hymel volunteers much of his time with his local faith community and runs the annual KofC charity golf tournament for the past 15 years supporting Special Olympics.
