A former exhibitions floor manager has been promoted to exhibitions sales manager by the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.
Alice Lem Chu Hong joined the center in 2011 as its exhibitions floor manager and becomes the center’s exhibitions sales manager reporting to the director of sales and marketing. In her new role, Lem is responsible for implementing a commercially effective sales plan to achieve optimum venue occupancy and profitability. With more than 13 years in the meetings and events industry, Lem is expected to elevate the center’s image and identify new opportunities for business growth in the exhibitions division.
The Kuala Lumpur Convention Center is a component of the Kuala Lumpur City Center and is managed and operated by Convex Malaysia Sdn Bhd. A winner of numerous awards, including the Meeting Industry Marketing Awards 2012 for best print advertising campaign and the MICE Report Awards 2012 for best convention center in Asia, Business Destinations Travel Awards 2011 for ‘Best Congress & Convention the center is a wholly owned facility of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre Sdn Bhd.
