Utilizing its PhotonOpticon technology, PeopleVisionFX created a holographic presentation for visitors to the Makino exhibit at the International Manufacturing Technologies Show.
PeopleVisionFX produces and markets creative special effects for museums and tradeshow exhibits, and its display featured a life-sized, full-length holographic presenter who used simple gestures to make holographic images of products and machines appear and disappear out of thin air.
“Advanced Makino manufacturing technologies feature some of the fastest cycle times, surface finishes, tool blends and tightest tolerances in the industry,” said Wayne Sullivant, president, PeopleVisionFX. “Telling that story required nothing less than a state-of-the-art display.”
Makino provides machining technologies and engineered process solutions that enable manufacturers to focus on making what matters to them.
Cincinnati Team of DisplayWorks LLC, an exhibit and marketing communications firm, designed the Makino Exhibit.
The International Manufacturing Technology Show is one of the largest industrial tradeshows in the world, with more than 1,900 exhibitors and 100,000 visitors. The event is held every two years in September at McCormick Place, Chicago.
