Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino has partnered with the producers of the annual Roper Cowboy Marketplace, Group W Productions, as well as the U.S. Team Roping Championships (USTRC) to create COWBOYVILLE for its WNFR guests. The resort will be home to the U.S. Team Ropers as well as one of the official host hotels of the 2014 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Roper Cowboy Marketplace
The expansive Roper Cowboy Marketplace will be located at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center Thursday, Dec. 4 – Saturday, Dec. 13. This must-see NFR shopping extravaganza features more than 300 Western vendors and will provide guests the opportunity to purchase everything from clothing, home goods, and more. It will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with complimentary admission.
COWBOYVILLE at Mizuya Lounge
A nightly live viewing party of the WNFR, hosted by trick roper Anthony Lucia, will be held at COWBOYVILLE inside Mizuya Lounge. Lucia will offer commentary throughout the evening’s performance, which will include giveaways, drink specials and nightly autograph sessions with the cowboys. Back for another year is the mechanical bull, which will provide a bucking good time to all rodeo fans brave enough for the challenge!
Live complimentary entertainment will be available nightly inside Mizuya Lounge. All concerts are scheduled to begin immediately following the viewings and will end at 2 a.m. The lineup is as follows:

Dee Jay Silver at eyecandy Sound Lounge
Nashville recording artist Dee Jay Silver will entertain guests at eyecandy Sound Lounge December 4 and Dec. 6 – 11 from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. He has previously toured with Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, Eric Church and Rascal Flatts, among others, and is set to head out on the road with Aldean in 2015.
Live Entertainment at House of Blues
Platinum-selling country singer and songwriter Gary Allan will perform at the House of Blues Concert Hall Thursday, Dec. 11 (doors open at 8 p.m.) and Friday, Dec. 12 (doors open at 9 p.m.). Allan’s nine studio albums and one Greatest Hits record have produced 26 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, including four that reached No. 1: “Man to Man,” “Tough Little Boys,” “Nothing On But The Radio” and “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain).”
The House of Blues also will feature three performances by American rock band Heart. The group, best-known for singles “Alone” and “Barracuda,” will perform Dec. 5 – 7 (doors open at 8 p.m.).

The Rodeo Corral at Monte Carlo
Guests can kick off their nightly NFR experience at Monte Carlo’s Pre-Rodeo Parties Dec. 4 – 6 and Dec. 12 – 13 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the BLVD Plaza. Surrounded by the sights and sounds of The Strip, fans can enjoy drink specials and live entertainment, including line dancing.
If guests do not have a ticket to the live event, they can head to The Pub at Monte Carlo where the venue will host nightly Rodeo Viewing Parties from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Guests can watch the live feed while enjoying food and drink specials as well as giveaways throughout the evening. Immediately following the event on Dec. 5 – 6 and Dec.12 – 13, musical artist Gold Rush Country will perform from 9 p.m. to midnight.
Rodeo fans looking for late night fun should head to Double Barrel Roadhouse for Monte Carlo’s Rodeo After-Parties, scheduled from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Guests will not only enjoy live entertainment, giveaways and food and beverage specials, but they also will have the opportunity to meet with the Team Monte Carlo Riders. All 12 of the riders will make an appearance at Double Barrel Thursday, Dec. 4 with three to four riders per evening stopping by the restaurant Dec. 7 – 11. All appearances are scheduled from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
