Last man standing at AFR Design Duel

Quick draw takes on a whole new meaning in this year’s Design Duel featuring two “outlaw designers” who used their quick-witted skills to win the Wild West showdown of their lives.

In its fourth year, AFR Event Furnishings presented the fun-filled, action packed Design Challenge on the Event Solutions Tradeshow floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The 20-minute duel featured “outlaw designers” Andy Hopper of KG Designs and David Twigger of Vermilion Events and Design Group who dueled to the end.

Design Outlaw 1: Andy Hopper

With a love of beautiful yet clean lines coupled with a sharp eye for color, Andy Hopper brings an instantly recognizable style to any design project he touches. With experience ranging from exotic international weddings to the Rose Bowl Parade and the Philadelphia Flower show along with many corporate and social event clients, his experience runs deep. Loving design as a young child, Hopper’s talent blossomed through travel experiences mixed with a formal interior design education and natural talent for creating beauty. With an array of design awards including Allies, ASFA, AIFD and more, the world has taken note of Andy’s considerable design talent. Today, as the Head of Design for KG Designs, a sure trademark of Hopper’s events are meticulous attention to detail matched with a tailored experience that exceeds his clients expectations each and every time.
