Former president and owner of Lawrence Fabric & Metal Structures Inc, a Missouri-based company, has announced his retirement.
Bob Helmsing, former president and owner, will retire after 34 dedicated years. Helmsing acquired the company in 1977 and has contributed to the growth of the company, starting from eight employees to currently 50.
“34 years of industry knowledge is going to be hard to replace,” said Jerry Grimaud, current owner and president of Lawrence Fabric & Metal Structures. “Bob has done a remarkable job of leading Lawrence into the exceptional company it is today.”
Helmsing served as chair of PAMA, held the position of President of Zone 8 and is an honored IFAI lifetime member. He will stay involved in an advisory capacity but will step away from day-to-day operations.
