LAX Marriott Finishes Redesign of Meeting Space

The Los Angeles Airport Marriott opened its renovated meeting space in September, which brings the hotel to the final phase of its expansive $50 million transformation. The property’s redesign of its 47,817 square feet of meeting space further solidifies it as a premier West Coast airport property.

Offering an ideal setting for planners to coordinate convenient and impactful meetings near an international travel hub, the LAX Marriott’s redesigned ballrooms and pre-function spaces feature a bold and innovative look. The property boasts more than 29 meeting rooms, including the 12,320 square-foot Marquis Ballroom, which can accommodate a variety of groups and events for up to 1,700 people.

The spaces, with a California-inspired design, feature re-imagined public areas designed for connection and collaboration. With rooms conveniently located all on one floor, meetings at the LAX Marriott offer ease of access and planning for groups, and are complete with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, RFID locks, and electronic reader boards.

The introduction of the renovated meeting spaces comes shortly after the LAX Marriott completed the first phase of a property-wide renovation that transformed the significant Los Angeles hotel into a cosmopolitan center of innovation and exploration. Located minutes from the Los Angeles International Airport, the hotel offers a modern “landing spot” to enjoy state-of-the-art amenities, including stylish guest rooms, three new restaurants, and a 4,000-square-foot M Club Lounge with panoramic views of the runways of LAX, Hollywood sign and downtown L.A.

In addition to its proximity to Los Angeles International Airport, the LAX Marriott is centrally located near downtown Los Angeles, Manhattan Beach, and the various restaurants, shops and museums that capture the essence of the iconic Hollywood city.  Additionally, the spaces are primed to be a nearby complement to programming at the upcoming Los Angeles Stadium & Entertainment District at Hollywood Park, which is scheduled to open in 2020.

Recently transformed with an energetic vibe and cutting-edge spaces, the LAX Marriott hotel celebrates the nostalgia of old Hollywood and invites travelers to embark on their next adventure with a buzzing, energetic vibe. Travelers can seamlessly blend work with play through the hotel’s 1,004 restorative guest rooms with ample space to relax and recharge, an invigorating culinary and cocktail culture, tropical, resort-style pool, and the new 18th floor M Club Lounge with panoramic views of the city skyline and LAX runways. Over 47,817 square feet of meeting spaces capture the spirit of Los Angeles, to produce creative and successful events. For more info, visit www.marriott.com/LAXAP.
