Exhibit City News (ECN) has announced two new hires as the publication expands its editorial and business operations. The additions strengthen the team and support new growth.
LeAnn Fischer Joins ECN, New Business Development
LeAnn Fischer has joined ECN in a role with New Business Development. She brings extensive experience in advertising, customer service, and event sales. Her background includes positions with Greenspring Media, EXHIBITOR Media, Austin Daily Herald, Austin Post-Bulletin, and Diamond Ridge Printing.
Fischer has built a long career in account management, client service, and sales strategy. Her work has included print and digital advertising, tradeshow industry sales, sponsorship packages, and event support for programs with attendance ranging from one thousand to more than three thousand people. She also has experience training sales teams and managing complex client portfolios.
In her new position, she will support ECN’s business operations and contribute to client relations as the publication continues to expand its advertiser and industry partnerships.
Elena Vazzo Joins as Editorial Assistant
Elena Vazzo has joined ECN as the publication’s editorial assistant. She is currently completing an Associate of Arts degree at College of Southern Nevada and plans to continue her education at University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). She intends to major in communications.
Vazzo brings a strong interest in writing, social media, and editorial work. She is active in community service and enjoys helping local organizations. She also values collaboration and looks for new ways to communicate and connect with others through teamwork.
In her new role, she will support story development, research, and digital content production. She will also assist with editorial workflow as ECN expands its print and online coverage.
