LiveForLife: Industry Unites for COVID-19 Coalition

Founding partners Czarnowski, Exploring (the parent company of ID3 Group, Brumark, Shelmarc Carpets, Chisel 3D, Atlantis WaterJet and GCI Graphics) and George P. Johnson have begun “Live For Life,” (https://www.liveforlifec19.com/) a coalition of live-event industry providers to help in the battle against COVID-19 that has already attracted more than 100 companies and organizations.

As it’s website explains, “COVID-19 has ravaged the live events industry unlike anything we’ve seen before. Our industry may be on pause, but rather than hunker down and weather the storm, we want to offer our unique skill set to help those in need. Under normal circumstances, many of the companies in our coalition are competitors. Under these circumstances, we are all collaborators.

Our expertise is the rapid development, just-in-time delivery and management of temporary structures. We also offer crowd management, registration, distribution of supplies, general contracting, resource staffing, PPE and many other services. Our designers understand traffic flow and space planning. Our teams are available to coordinate logistics and manage projects. And our labor crews are ready to get back to work.”

This website continues with what it can provide, “We have created universal, scalable design systems and structures, made from readily available materials that can be easily fabricated and deployed regardless of organization or location. We can produce and rapidly deploy Temporary Hospital Structures and Patient Treatment Rooms that can be placed in a variety of venues and open spaces for hospital systems or regions seeing high rates of acute infection, which require special housing and controlled environments to treat the affected communities.  Shelters can also be used for overflow treatment and isolation of non-COVID-19 patients. We also offer testing structures (tents or other) that can quickly be deployed.

When the structures are no longer needed, the website says, “We will provide guidance for the proper disposal of building and materials to eliminate possible secondary infection.”

Services being offered on site (all searchable and some of them are government approved): Antimicrobial & Decontamination, Electrical, Facilities Management, Flooring, Full Service Temporary Structure Manufacturers, General Contractors, HVAC, Lighting, Media & Publishing, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Plumbing, Resource Staffing (incl. Medical), Technology Platform Providers, Trailers & Other Vehicles, Transportation & Supply Chain, Translation and Interpretation, Venue Services, Wayfinding and Graphics.
