Logan Doctson Promoted to Manager, Public Relations

ATLANTA, Georgia– Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) promotes Logan Doctson to public relations manager after nearly four years with the organization. She will focus efforts on implementing strategic communications programs to support ACVB’s business plan. Doctson will be the lead contact for domestic media and will leverage those relationships and opportunities to increase Atlanta’s visibility as a top U.S. travel destination.

Doctson first joined ACVB in 2019 as PR coordinator and returned in 2022 as specialist before advancing to assistant manager in 2024. She has been a key player in securing domestic media placements, including coverage about Atlanta’s MICHELIN Guide. In addition, she has managed ACVB’s PR internship program, led numerous speaking engagements for leadership and team members, coordinated media FAMs and developed other high-profile projects for the PR department.

Outside of her daily role, she is an active member of PRSA Georgia serving on the diversity, equity and inclusion committee. Doctson is a graduate of the University of Alabama with degrees in public relations and communication studies.
