Louisville CVB Commission gets new member

Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau has announced the appointment of a new member for the Greater Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau Commission.

The Commission is the policy-making body of the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau, the community’s tourism marketing organization.

ECN 062015_POM_Louisville CVB Commission_Sarah RobbinsSarah Robbins is the senior vice president of operations for 21c Museum Hotels. She oversees operations for 21c Museum Hotels and ensures the seamless relationship between each hotel and its restaurant with direct oversight of the food and beverage program. She is also actively involved in the design and development of new 21c projects.

Robbins was appointed by Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear. She replaces Michael Howerton, who unexpectedly passed away late last year. Robbins term runs through Aug. 13, 2016. Her appointment is effective immediately.

She is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. Robbins has extensive consulting experience with restaurant and hotel management companies.
