Southeast Asia’s Marina Bay Sands resort continues to lead in sustainability efforts.
With the Sands 360 degree program driving the resort’s “green” efforts, Marina Bay earned the ISO 20121 Sustainable Events Management System certification in early 2014, becoming the first MICE facility in Southeast Asia to earn such a certification.
In addition, the resort is working with other like-minded organizations to further its corporate sustainability goals.
Creating its own herb garden, the resort is actively procuring its own produce both within and from neighboring countries.
Furthermore, Marina Bay Sands has unveiled a line of merchandise entirely made of organic, recycled and sustainable materials. Appropriately named “the Go-Green collection,” products including T-shirts and mugs are available within the resort’s gift shops.
