What happens in Vegas, doesn’t have to stay there!
The National Electrical Contractors Association is doing its part, as its annual safety conference takes place later in the month. The 2017 NECA Safety Professionals Conference, May 22-24, was specifically created for safety professionals working in today’s electrical construction industry. For the first time the NSPC will be held this year at the Tropicana in Las Vegas, a city known for its vibrancy and flair that is sure to be a draw.
“By bringing the conference to Las Vegas, we hope it will entice more attendees to the conference since it is a destination city and there are plenty of activities of interest there,” says Wes Wheeler, NECA’s Director of Safety.
Organizers plan to bring in three nationally acclaimed keynote speakers who will offer safety perspectives that NECA members can use and implement back with their companies. Having time with exhibitors, vendors and fellow safety professionals will give attendees a wealth of contacts who can help them be more productive on the job back home.
“Our hope is that this conference continues to grow in offerings and attendees and makes a positive impact on safety in the electrical industry,” Wheeler says.
