Tis the season to give back! Over the past week, hundreds of Orange County government employees and residents, including Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings, have gathered together safely at the Orange County Convention Center to support the Heart of Florida United Way #ThanksgivingProject.
This community-wide food drive aims to package and deliver 1,500+ meal kits to local families in need this holiday season.
The award-winning Orange County Convention Center provides approximately $3 billion in economic impact to Central Florida annually. In recent years, the convention center has averaged nearly 200 events, including 115 conventions and tradeshows that attract more than 1.5 million attendees to the region each year.
