MC2, a recognized leader in the exhibit and event marketing industry, appointed an existing employee to the newly created position of chief strategy officer. Russell Reich previously served as senior vice president, creative strategy. The change was effective as of May 1.
As chief strategy officer, Reich continues his responsibility for leading the company’s design division and overseeing all aspects of the company’s creative strategy. In addition, he will both recommend strategic business opportunities to the company’s senior management team and execute on overall business strategy from a design perspective. His role also includes interpreting client brand strategies and effectively translating those into live, three-dimensional environments.

Reich’s eclectic background includes publishing, not-for-profit communications, marketing, and fundraising, technical writing, and theater directing. A graduate of Colgate and Columbia, he is a specialist in strategic brand communications for Fortune 50 corporations including the development of the HeartFX Pod — a heart failure disease state simulator for AstraZeneca.
