MC&A joins Eved to automate buying and selling for meetings and events

Hawaii’s largest destination and event management company, MC&A, has adopted Eved’s e360 solution to automate buying and selling for meetings and events. The e360 program is the only operating platform on the market for destination management companies (DMC).

“Using e360, we will be able to create great programs for our clients without the inconvenience of managing all the details on different systems,” said Chris Resich, president and CEO, MC&A. “The e360 solution developed by Eved will help us to streamline processes and consolidate program information into one place.”

eved_logoEved is an event-commerce solution that automates the buying and selling for meetings and events. The e360 solution enables DMCs to source, contract and pay for all their meetings and events in one place.

“We are thrilled MC&A selected Eved’s e360 as their back office operating platform to drive event commerce. As a market leader, MC&A understands the importance of investing in technology in a fast-paced and demanding business environment,” said Julie Silverstein, president and COO, Eved. “e360 was built specifically for DMCs to streamline their back offices and grow their companies.”

The need for technology is becoming increasingly important in the meeting and event industry.

“What sets Eved apart is its holistic approach to addressing every phase of the process, from marketing your company to finding the right suppliers,” said Resich. “Then, contracting with those suppliers, managing change orders and executing the payment through a secure online portal. All on one system with a single sign-on.”

Launched in 2010, Eved has more than 4,500 members worldwide, including corporate event planners, meeting and incentive companies, DMCs, venues, hotels and local and national suppliers.

MC&A is Hawaii’s largest destination and event management company, specializing in the corporate incentive, meetings, convention and association markets. The company also services several leisure-travel, wholesale clients and most cruise lines sailing in Hawaiian waters.
