A 20-year veteran of the tradeshow industry has completed his tradeshow marketer certification through EXHIBITOR.
Mark Flinn of MC² has joined the ranks of the tradeshow industry’s top talent by completing EXHIBITOR’s certified tradeshow marketer (CTSM) accreditation program, the only university-affiliated certification program in the tradeshow and event marketing industry.
“Working through the CTSM program has emphasized the challenges my clients face in the day-to-day process of managing their corporate marketing programs,” said Flinn. “After 20 years in the business, it has armed me with a knowledge base to better understand and serve the needs of my clients.”
Flinn started the certification process in 2009 in order to improve his ability to better understand and serve the needs of his clients and prospects. He accomplished all of the CTSM program requirements: a 28-course core curriculum, a comprehensive examination and acceptance of a candidate portfolio. Flinn will be recognized in March as one of the new CTSM graduates during the annual awards ceremony at EXHIBITOR 2013.
Flinn has been an account executive with MC² since 2008. He attended Northern Michigan University, where he earned an associate degree in industry and technology with a focus on graphic design and printing. Prior to joining the exhibit industry, Flinn worked as an offset printing pressman and in sales servicing the printing industry.
Created in 1992 and sponsored by EXHIBITOR, the CTSM program is affiliated with the Northern Illinois University outreach program to ensure academic standards are met. All certifications earned in the program are awarded by Northern Illinois University. EXHIBITOR’s CTSM program has more than 3,000 professionals enrolled.
MC² designs, builds and manages integrated marketing programs including events, exhibits, permanent and mobile brand environments, simulations, and executive briefing centers. The company has 12 locations in the U.S. and Germany.
