Medical Fair India is held every year alternately in Mumbai or New Delhi, and will present the latest developments for the medical sector, ranging from medical, diagnostics and laboratory equipment to pathology and physiotherapy technology as well as hospital/clinic furnishings and communication/information technology.
Health care in India is in a state of enormous transition – increased income for the middle classes, health consciousness among the majority of the classes, price liberalizations and reduction in bureaucracy as well as the introduction of private health care financing.The country is one of the most promising growth markets for medical technology in the world.
At the last staging of Medical Fair India in March 2014, a total of 443 exhibitors and 8,013 registered trade visitors took part, further establishing its position as the most important medical event for the Indian market. With India’s booming health care market, the tradeshow was characterized by international contacts and strong buying interest.
