Melbourne CVB signs Reed to manage AIME through 2018

Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB), a business development organization, and show organizer Reed Travel Exhibitions (Reed) will renew their commitment to the region’s leading business events tradeshow, the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME) for three years.

According to Reed Divisional Director Nick Pilbeam, the firm is well placed to take the show to the next level as the world’s leading exhibition organizer with a strong portfolio of 23 travel trade events in 15 countries, including AIME.

“We know this show inside out and we are thrilled to continue to work with one of Australia’s leading Bureaux; one that is so deeply committed to the business events industry,” said Pilbeam. “AIME is a prestigious event that brings local and international visitors to Melbourne every year to learn, share and grow, and we are dedicated to its continued success.”

Karen Bolinger, chief executive officer, MCB, is excited by the possibilities that this multi-year partnership will generate. She stated that AIME is entering a new era of collaboration and inspiration.

“The value brought by Reed as an organizer is integral to the continued growth and success of AIME. Their established insider knowledge, coupled with our strong existing relationships, will ensure a seamless event experience for everyone involved,” Bolinger noted.

In addition, AIME 2016 will see a newly appointed advisory board, tasked with shaping the vision of the show and setting the agenda for the 24th year of AIME.

AIME 2016 will be held Feb. 23-24 in Melbourne, Australia.
