MG Design earns EDPA RFP Certification

MG Design, an exhibit design firm, received the EDPA RFP Certification for meeting the industry association’s stringent standards for business practices.

EDPA RFP Certification, brought by Exhibit Designers & Producers’ Association, assures prospective clients that the member company adheres to industry standards and best practices relating to ethical business practices, industry experience and participation, fiscal responsibility and operational methodology. Certification is granted by iCompli, an independent third-party audit firm that reviews each member company’s application and verifies compliance with standards and practices.

“We have always held our RFP process to the highest standards — it’s a key part of being a true partner and building great long-term business relationships,” said Michael Grivas, CEO, MG. “We are pleased that EDPA has created this certification program. It brings even more credibility and integrity to our industry and the work we do to serve our clients. MG is extremely proud to be among the first companies named to this prestigious list.”

The EDPA RFP Certification Program was launched in early 2014 in response to an industry survey of corporate tradeshow exhibitors who revealed a desire for more transparency and consistency during the RFP process.

“We congratulate MG on this achievement and hope that this will encourage others in the exhibit design and production industry to pursue certification,” stated Jeff Provost, executive director, EDPA.

iCompli, a division of BPA Worldwide, a not-for-profit international auditing organization headquartered in Shelton, Conn., developed the certification protocols for the EDPA RFP Certification Program and performed the independent third-party certification of MG in compliance with the standard.
