Reed Exhibition’s Chairman Mike Rusbridge heads a list of senior industry figures who have recently signed up to attend September’s Global Event Summit, happening September 7-9, 2011, at Syon Park, London.

Now in its third year, GES is dedicated to the international event industry. A combination of unique content, market insight and extensive networking all within an informal setting conducive to doing business make it the must-attend event for senior players.

“GES will delve deep and take an extremely close look at how the industry is evolving throughout the world,” said Simon Kimble, GES 2011 chairman and Clarion Events. “You really don’t want to miss it.”

Other high-profile delegates attending the Summit include: Alastair Gornall, Centaur Media plc, UK; Christopher Hudson Clarion Events, Middle East, UAE; Eric Préat, easyFairs, Belgium; Humaid Al Dhaheri, ADNEC, UAE; David Audrain, Messe Frankfurt North America, USA; Paul Dunne, EMAP Connect, UK; Simon Foster, UBM, UK; Simon Parker, UBM, UK; Michael Watton, Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE; and Daniel Londero, Reed Exhibitions, UK.

GES has also announced the attendance of Paul Dunne of EMAP, who is taking part in the Summit for the first time.  This comes in the wake of the recent establishment of ‘Emap Brooks’, a joint venture company launched to take EMAP brands to new territories.

“Senior industry figures value the fact that GES provides a unique and confidential platform for the international exhibition industry to hold frank and open debate on the state and direction of the industry,” said Trevor Foley, tfconnect managing director. “Essentially we ensure that the summit sessions are closed to the outside world in order to foster an environment where delegates can speak freely. As a result, the quality and scope of the Summit content fuels fascinating discussions to the benefit of everyone attending.”
