Now supporting U.S.-based clients, including those in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana, are Mobile Maintenance and Installation fleet vehicles from MiX Telematics, a global provider of fleet management, driver safety and vehicle tracking solutions.
“Whether our clients operate a fleet of 10 or 10,000, MiX Telematics Mobile Maintenance and Installation service shortens the response time between a service request and having the service completed,” said Ken Creager, president and CEO, MiX Telematics North America. “Because there is little or no downtime between service requests, our clients can run their operations more smoothly.”
A Mobile Maintenance and Installation van is operated by a certified master technician who performs custom installation and routine maintenance services as well as quality control and advanced training of the MiX Telematics partner network. All mobile, on-site services are provided to MiX Telematics customers, regardless of fleet size.
“MiX Telematics is among the first in our country to offer critical mobile service and installation services at this level,” said Creager. “Not only can our master technician provide routine maintenance at a customer’s facility, but he can also offer customized installation services that match the needs of any client. The pilot program for this on-site service solution proved to be such a success that we look forward to implementing it in all of the markets where our clients operate.”
The Mobile Maintenance and Installation program is slated to expand to additional U.S. markets. Maintenance and installation services are scheduled through the MiX Telematics Service Dispatch Center, located in Boca Raton, Fla.
